Julia Dwelley has shown promise as an amazing athlete early in her career. Switching over from the short sprint hurdles to mid-distance, and encouraged to do cross country. Dwelley has climbed to the top of section 2, modified girls. She has won every league meet, beating both boys and girls in 7th and 8th-grade groups (her first year on the team as a 7th grader). "Zion Evans is a senior quarterback/defensive back for the Ichabod Crane football team.
Evans, a four-year varsity player, rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns last week when the Riders defeated Catskill/ Cairo-Durham 36-0.
Ichabod Crane (3-1 overall, 3-1 Reinfurt Division) travels Friday to take on Schalmont (3-1, 2-1)." (Allen, 2023)
To no surprise, Brianna placed 4th at 22:28.90, as she has shown promise since starting cross country her freshman year at Ichabod Crane. Hard work and determination are written in her DNA as she claims top five titles often with a lower time each meet. She looks to conquer the NY State meet this year. (September, 2023).
